New program easily converts RSS feeds into html content that webmasters can add to their websites to provide fresh content to their visitors.

(PRWEB) April 7, 2005 -- Webmasters – Using RSS feeds to give your website fresh, changing content is one of the hottest techniques top marketers are using today. Until now, using RSS feeds properly was time consuming and difficult. A new program called RSS Content Builder is now available to help webmasters easily use RSS feeds to increase their search engine ranking.

RSS feeds are an amazing free tool that allows any webmaster to syndicate news, articles or entertainment directly onto their own site. Top names like Yahoo!, Reuters, the New York Times and CNN offer RSS feeds webmasters to use. That means, without writing a single word, websites can offer visitors fresh, relevant content every day.

RSS feeds can also play another important role for website owners. With the proper scripting, RSS feeds will be read by the search engines as YOUR content. More relevant content means a higher rating with the search engines. However, most feeds are created in javascript which is unreadable by the search engines. Codes must be converted to php to be read by search engines. This time consuming process also requires programming knowledge.

Another obstacle to benefiting from RSS feeds is that search engines will actually penalize websites for having duplicate content from other websites. It would seem that using RSS feeds for search engine optimization is too difficult for the average webmaster, until now.

With new programs available, anyone can get the full benefits of using RSS feeds, even if they aren’t programmers. T. Pishchik of www.abat.com says about the program he uses "I've been using static pages for years. Now with RSS Content Builder I can put fresh content on my site automatically without doing any work. The installation process is as easy as 1-2-3 and took only few minutes."
Michelle Timothy, the creator of RSS Content Builder, was also using RSS feeds for her websites, but finding the process time consuming and complicated. She says “I wanted something easier to use. I wanted the option to customize the look of the feeds, to stop customers from leaving my site when they clicked on a feed, and of course, to make it search engine friendly with a lot less work”.

Michelle’s program, RSS Content Builder, is now available to webmasters. You can find more information about the benefits of using RSS feeds and sign up for the free version at http://rsscontentbuilder.com.

Searchen Networks Inc., an Internet marketing firm based on Long Island New York, has recently released it's final version of a full featured search engine service which will enter into the extremely saturated search engine market.

(PRWEB) April 7, 2005 -- Searchen Networks Inc., an Internet marketing firm based on Long Island New York, has recently released it's final version of a full featured search engine service which will enter into the extremely saturated search engine market.

The debut of Searchen Networks, accessible on the Internet at www.searchennetworks.com, offers a sophisticated interface for internet users to not only find information, but users can query images, products, news, and more via affiliations with top data sources through XML feeds bringing hundreds and thousands of different results all in one place.

This new player on the search field also provides it's own human edited directory, similar to the popular "Open Directory Project" also known as DMOZ. Categories have editors who physically approve and decline listings as they are submitted. These directory listings feed into and mingle within the results found on it's search pages. Submitting a site into the directory and therefor into the engines database is completely free, unlike many pay directory services which are available.

Executive Director, John Colascione says: "We didn't want to create just another search engine because that wouldn't have helped anyone. Our aim was to build a site that assisted users in finding suitable information in a matter of seconds and also to provide businesses with an effective way of promoting their services to the web community."

Searchen Networks Inc., a parent company to many other online entities, has high expectations for this new engine and what it can bring to the search industry.

A free one-stop listing search of multiple domain name broker Web sites.

Berkeley, CA (PRWEB) April 8, 2005 -- AboutDomains.com announced today that it has begun providing a free one-stop listing search of multiple domain name broker Web sites.

The searchable database is comprised of filtered listings from catalogs at AfterNIC, DomainMart, and Sedo, as wells as eBay auctions.

Catalog listings are filtered based on three criteria: a minimum ask price of $1,500; the listing site’s value rank; and the size of the difference between the posted ask price and the market value that is estimated by DomainMart’s statistical approach. A listing on eBay is included in the database only if it has at least one bid of more than $1,000.

Users also have the option to subscribe to a free listing notification service that sends them an email when their desired names get listed with any of the participating listing sites. Users can specify characteristics of wanted domain names, such as keyword composition and minimum traffic, without identifying the domain name. Moreover, to expand the scope of the search, it is also integrated with DomainMart’s Private Placement selling option.

“The service reduces costs associated with searching multiple sites and with filtering out listings whose ask prices are considerably higher than their respective market value,” says Alex Tajirian, President and CEO of DomainMart. “The complementary listing notification service further reduces search costs,” adds Tajirian.

About DomainMart
DomainMart is the industry’s leader in applying quantitative valuation techniques to domain names. They have pioneered the application of statistical pricing classification techniques and the traffic-revenue methodology to domain name valuation. For more information on their domain-name secondary-market services, visit their site at http://www.DomainMart.com.

AboutDomains
AboutDomains.com has been a leading provider of information and reviews on domain name service providers since 1998. The service areas include: appraisal, escrow, leasing, parking, protection, valuation, and Web hosting.

There's a new Mozilla Firefox extension called GooglePreview that, when installed, changes the Google search engine results pages (SERPs) so website thumbnails are included next to each listing. The thumbnails are from Amazon.com, Alexa.com, and Thumbshots.org.

If you are an avid fan of the Firefox web browser and use Google a lot, then this may be a welcome feature. You can actually see a snapshot of each site before you actually click on it, which ultimately speeds up your productivity. Not every search result includes a thumbnail because some sites aren’t listed in Alexa.com or DMOZ.org (ultimately from where Thumbshots.org decides which sites to include).

What I find neat is that if you search for a particular product using GooglePreview and the search result includes a page from Amazon.com, the product’s picture will be displayed next to the search result. Amazon books are also included, and a photo of the book cover is included next to the search result if you search for a phrase that includes an Amazon book product page from Amazon.com.

According to the GooglePreview website (http://ackroyd.de/googlepreview), GooglePreview is “A Mozilla Firefox browser extension that inserts preview images (thumbnails) of web sites, Amazon products and stock charts into the Google and yahoo.com search results pages. Thumbnails are provided by thumbshots.org and alexa.com.

GooglePreview was written by Edward Ackroyd, and is available for download by visiting https://addons.update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=189.
