An innovative new resource, www.mybusinesspresents.com, goes live today, offering a unique opportunity for companies looking to grow their business. It will allow businesses to promote their services on the site as well as get help building a potential client list fast - and at no cost.

Recent research has shown that businesses are finding it increasingly difficult and expensive to find potential new clients. With the internet growing exponentially, potential customers are bombarded with hundreds of marketing messages everyday.

Currently the Internet standard for click through rates is 0.68%. That means that less than one in every hundred messages that you send gets to an inbox, gets read, and then gets clicked on. This is not really a good way to grow your business unless you have thousands on your mailing list.

And this is where MyBusinessPresents.com can help. The brainchild of Jason Hulott, an internet marketing specialist, the concept is simple.

He explains: "For those companies wishing to grow their business, they can become a partner. All they need to do is to provide us with a free resource (such as a Guide, Report, Audio or Course), that we can add to this site and promote for them.

"In return, every partner that signs up to offer a Business Present will email their mailing list once promoting MyBusinessPresents.com. Then on 14th February, we will open the doors so that visitors can register with us and then download as many free gifts as they like from the partners featured.

"We are urging businesses who wish to feature to sign up now. Our goal is to contact 1 million people during 2007 who wish to find help or guidance for their business. The normal cost for a business to do this on their own is prohibitive so our option is a great way to get involved and build a healthy client base."

As a special bonus, companies signing up before 14th February will receive a free guide worth £49.99 to help them create a product that they can give away and attract new business. The guide shows the best way to build and earn revenue directly from their free product.

All of the resources made available via myBusinessPresents will be aimed at the small or new business owner so there will be a huge array of useful information to help them grow their business or in fact start a business.

Online marketing firm Oneupweb, has released its study, 2006 Holiday Online Retail Buying Trends, revealing data from more than a million consumers interacting with Google, Yahoo and MSN advertising. The study tracks traffic, conversion rates and sales across 14-weeks of the holiday sales season and is available free from Oneupweb.com. Most importantly for e-commerce marketers and internet advertisers, the study provides them with paid search marketing best practices in response to the trends revealed.

For example, the study provides several milestones for implementing pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns, helping internet retailers know when to test campaigns, estimate peak volumes and have completed campaigns ready for the season. It provides strategic bidding advice for peak sales weeks and helps online marketers continue to sell as the holidays draw close.

"We set out to validate some of the speculation surrounding the 2006 holiday season online," says Oneupweb CEO, Lisa Wehr. "E-commerce companies have their own season, and it starts much earlier than many online retailers believe. This study demonstrates the importance of having campaigns tested and ready for holiday shoppers by Halloween."

In addition to the week-by-week analysis, Oneupweb focuses attention on several critical days of the season: Thanksgiving, Black Friday (the Friday after Thanksgiving), Cyber Monday (the Monday after Thanksgiving), Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Oneupweb's study also answers the questions, "When is the highest sales day?" and, "When does the online market effectively dry-up?'" Wehr explains, "The analysis supports some theories about the importance of Cyber Monday and dispels some misconceptions about conversion rates for the week before Christmas Day. Because the data is generated by millions of consumers across a variety of retail categories, retailers can get a better view of the overall advertising trends for Google, Yahoo and MSN."

The 14-page study includes easy-to-read charts accompanied by thorough analysis, showing the following:

• The start of the holiday season
• Online holiday shopping peaks
• A pre-Thanksgiving dip in traffic and sales
• The effect of last-minute shoppers on the week before Christmas
• A comparison of five important days of the holiday season

"The online retail market is still evolving, by responding to changes in consumer preferences," cautions Wehr. "While next holiday season may have a few surprises of its own, online retailers armed with the best practices outlined in this study will be better prepared to adapt to them."

"Marketers no longer rely on the internet to serve simply as an awareness tool. Branding and retention efforts are no longer measured by the volume of clicks," said Darin Namken, President of CommissionSoup. "Today, merchants demand a complete online marketing solutions package as provided by CommissionSoup to promote a higher volume of loyal, long-term customers."

Affiliate marketing is the relationship between merchants and web site owners known as affiliates. Merchants use the web to promote their products and services on affiliate web sites. In exchange for advertising a merchant product on their web site, the merchant agrees to pay out a commission based on the success of the traffic. With a pay-for-performance business model, there is no risk to the merchant or the affiliate, thus making the partnership mutually beneficial.

Whether you are looking to improve your e-commerce profits or are hoping to cash in on the large volume of site visitors you receive each day, CommissionSoup wants to work with you. CommissionSoup is always looking for new merchant and affiliate members to add to the growing network of professionals who are embracing the power and profit of the internet. The concept of marketing is an absolute necessity in business. Statistics show that the reason why many businesses fail is due to the lack of marketing ability for their particular product(s). Entrepreneurs who are without aggression or drive to sell their products will end up with a 'belly up' business.

Fortunately, through Matt Bacak's newest "seven golden keys to success" strategy, one of the most important keys that he encourages entrepreneurs to focus on is being a marketer. This means that by being aggressive, persistent and pro-active, an entrepreneur has the ability to sell their product more successfully.

A strong recommendation that Matt Bacak gives for this particular "golden key" to work out into a multimillion dollar empire for an entrepreneur is to observe successful marketing techniques from other businesses. Matt Bacak explains that by doing this, an entrepreneur can discover for themselves what works best for their business and can amalgamate that success into their own company.

Matt Bacak also explains through his "golden key" strategy that an entrepreneur's most cost-effective method of promotion is the Internet itself. It is affordable and delivers fast results as far as marketing options are concerned.

Many entrepreneurs believe that the best product that sells the most is a superior product compared to a sub-par product. Matt Bacak explains through his "seven golden keys to success" strategy that this is a false assumption as its the marketing plan that sells the most products to the consumer, not the product itself.

Matt Bacak encourages any new entrepreneur who does not possess a strong marketing ability to look into his "seven golden keys to success." This ability in business is not merely an optional trait, but an essential one.

Gold Lasso, LLC, a leading provider of on-demand email marketing software and services, announced that it has launched Dot Email (www.dotemail.com), a new, free online community for email marketers.

The website was built to serve the professional needs of today's e-marketers, and in keeping with Gold Lasso's open source roots, Dot Email was created entirely with open source software such as Joomla and related components. Dot Email features detailed resource links, message boards, links to industry news, blog commentaries, file sharing and job and marketplace sections.

"Email marketing has become a billion dollar business, and those marketing professionals that count on email as a valuable part of their marketing toolkits are able to apply innovative strategies and best practices to their work," said Elie Ashery, CEO and co-founder of Gold Lasso and the creator of dotemail.com. "This online community was built specifically for email marketers as a forum to share their successful ideas, keep up with news, learn tricks of the trade, and just to comment or complain about some of the fun or vexing issues that serve to continually motivate them."

A sample of the issues already being discussed at Dot Email includes the potential impact of Internet video on marketers in 2007. A recent study by the media research firm Horowitz Associates reveals that Internet video content is grabbing more mobile device users all the time, with eight percent of all Internet users reporting they watch video content on a handheld device at least once a month. How will this growing trend impact email marketers in 2007? Early users of Dot Email are already sharing opinions on the most successful methods for packaging an email that is linked to video content in order to boost viewers.

Michael Weisel, Chief Technology Office of Gold Lasso commented "it is obvious that email is helping to drive the growth of Internet videos and video podcasts, and in most instances, my team has found that by posting links to video in emails, you will get far more viewers than if you send video clips imbedded in the email."

Other issues that will surely impact the way marketers use email in 2007 are email deliverability and the continued growth of online ad spending.

"Not every marketing or sales professional has the time or resources to attend an expensive conference just to network and keep up with the latest electronic marketing trends," Ashery said. "But anyone can find the time to visit Dot Email each week in order to make new contacts, learn new marketing strategies and keep up with the latest industry news. This free website represents our effort to give back to the marketing community, but like anything communal, you will get out of it what you put into it."
